Willard Moore, a well known & respected dancer, teacher and choreographer in the 1930s
and 40s. The recipient was a male dancer who demonstrates great potential after only two
years of training.
Pauline Scholz, who in 1913 turned down an art scholarship to become a teacher in order to
be self supporting. The recipient was a self-taught artist!
